A different kind of physical therapy experience.
Our approach
-
Careful testing and observation of your muscle strength, coordination, and endurance. Assessment of your movement patterns and how they might be impacting your symptoms.
-
A personalized approach to movement that considers how your pelvic floor, core, hips, and breath work together. With one-on-one guidance and access to Pilates equipment, we tailor each session to help you build strength, move with confidence, and return to the activities you love.
-
A targeted treatment for muscle tension and pain that may contribute to pelvic symptoms. Fine needles are placed in selected muscles, and gentle electrical stimulation may be added to encourage a change in muscle activity. Your therapist tailors the treatment to your symptoms, comfort, and goals as part of your broader pelvic health care.
-
Thoughtful, one-on-one movement that draws on yoga and pelvic health physical therapy. We adapt breathwork, mobility, and strengthening to your body and goals, helping you explore movement in a way that feels comfortable and sustainable. Rebecca is a certified yoga teacher, and was grateful to practice under the guidance of Saraswathi Jois in Mysore, India.
-
Gentle hands-on treatment informed by the relationship between the connective tissues surrounding the organs and the muscles and structures of the pelvis. When appropriate, we consider whether restricted movement in these tissues may be contributing to pelvic or urinary symptoms, and include this work as part of your individualized physical therapy plan.
-
Hands-on care tailored to your symptoms and comfort. Treatment may include joint and soft tissue techniques to address areas of tension or restricted movement.
-
Move with greater ease in everyday life and greater confidence in the activities you love. We look at how you stand, move, and respond to physical demands, then use guided practice to refine movement patterns, build strength, and support performance that feels sustainable.
